Representative Wedding Dinner Menus

We can create custom menus to fit your wishes and budget.

The Dowds’ Inn Event Center can host your wedding from the rehearsal dinner to a day after brunch.

 We also have multiple wedding dinner formats such as Sit-Down-Service,
Buffet Service and/or Serving Stations.

Below are some ideas for appetizers, soups,
salads, entrees and desert. We also offer bar service and have a fine
collection of wines.

We can create custom menus for your wedding so
please ask us about anything and feel free to share your ideas for your wedding with us.

The stations may not be supplemented for buffet dinner service.

Buffet Dinner Service

You may choose any two items from the served
menu selections to be hosted on the buffet with the exception of combination
plates. The buffet dinner includes two entrees, the Chef’s house vegetarian
entrée, homemade rolls and breads, a fresh seasonal vegetable du jour and a
choice of potato or rice.

You may also add a third entrée option for a
nominal additional charge.

We also offer the following specialty wedding buffets

Backyard Barbecue

with chicken, pork ribs, New York strip steak, corn on the
cob, cole slaw, potato salad or baked potato, tossed salad, watermelon and apple pie.

Pig Roast

with slow cooked native pig, baked beans, corn on the cob, cole slaw, potato salad or

baked potato, tossed salad, watermelon and seasonal shortcake.

New England Clam Bake

with boiled 1.5 lb lobster,

clam chowder, corn on the cob, cole slaw, baked potato, tossed salad, and assorted rolls.

Watermelon and seasonal pie.

About Our Beverage Service

The Dowds’ Inn Event Center is a licensed catering facility;
we are able to provide alcohol services to guests. Therefore, we offer you optional ways to
serve alcoholic beverages to your wedding guests.

Open Bar Service

A full bar of liquor, wine and beer

where the host of the wedding pays per drink

Cash Bar Service

A full bar of liquor, wine and beer

where the guests of the wedding pays per drink

Combo Bar Service

A full bar of liquor, wine and beer

Where the host of the wedding pays per drink for a
contracted time at which point the bar becomes a cash bar and the guests of the
wedding begin paying individually on a cash bar basis.

Bartending Services The number of bartenders to
provide service is determined by the type of bar service and total guest count.

Bartending Services Fees will Apply and a gratuity
will be added to all open bar services. A tip jar located at the bar will be
presented for the cash bar service.

Security – if a cash bar is hosted security may be
required at the expense of the customer.

The State of New
Hampshire applies a 9% liquor tax which is included
in the price of our beverages.
